Refund Policy
Last updated: 19 October 2026
In short
- You can withdraw from your first purchase within 14 days for a full refund, no questions asked.
- After those 14 days, subscription payments are non-refundable except in the specific cases listed below, such as billing errors or extended outages.
- Cancelling stops future charges but does not refund payments already made.
- To request a refund, email support@meetwitty.com.
This Refund Policy is part of our Terms & Conditions and applies to all purchases on Witty. It does not limit your statutory rights as a consumer.
1. 14-day right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer, you may withdraw from your initial purchase on Witty, whether an introductory trial, a subscription or a one-time purchase, within 14 days of that purchase, without giving any reason.
- What is refunded: all amounts you paid during those 14 days, including the trial fee and, if it was charged within the 14 days, your first subscription payment.
- Effect: your subscription ends and your access to premium features stops when we process your withdrawal.
- One time only: the withdrawal period applies to your initial purchase. Subscription renewals, plan changes and reactivations are continuations of the same contract and do not start a new 14-day period.
- Digital content: for one-time purchases of digital content (such as a certificate or report) delivered immediately, the right of withdrawal ends once delivery has begun with your express consent given at checkout.
- How to withdraw: email support@meetwitty.com from your account email address with a clear statement that you withdraw from your purchase. You may use the model withdrawal form provided by law, but you do not have to.
- Timing: we refund you within 14 days of receiving your request, to the payment method you used.
2. Refunds after the withdrawal period
After the 14-day withdrawal period, subscription payments are generally non-refundable. We will, however, consider a refund in the following cases:
2.1 Service unavailability
- documented platform downtime exceeding 24 consecutive hours,
- not caused by scheduled maintenance, and
- not due to events outside our reasonable control (force majeure).
2.2 Technical issues
- a defect in the Service prevented you from using its core features,
- you reported the issue to us within 30 days of the charge, and
- our technical team has verified the issue.
2.3 Billing errors
- duplicate charges,
- incorrect amounts charged, or
- unauthorised transactions (subject to verification).
2.4 Legal requirements
We issue refunds wherever applicable consumer protection law in your country of residence requires it.
3. Non-refundable cases
Outside the 14-day withdrawal period, the following are not eligible for a refund:
- the unused remainder of a billing period after you cancel;
- plan downgrades;
- temporary feature limitations during scheduled maintenance;
- change of mind or no longer needing the Service;
- not cancelling before a trial ended or a subscription renewed, although the dates were disclosed to you;
- inability to use the Service because of your own device, browser, internet connection or similar.
4. How to request a refund
Email support@meetwitty.com and include:
- the email address on your account,
- the transaction details (date and amount),
- the reason for your request, and
- any supporting information, if applicable.
Incomplete requests may take longer to process. We review refund requests within 5 business days. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 14 days; depending on your bank, it may take a further 5–10 business days for the amount to appear on your statement. We cannot refund to a different card or account.
5. Cancellation and refunds
Cancelling your subscription stops future charges but does not refund payments already made, except as described in sections 1 and 2. See the Subscription Terms for how to cancel.
6. Payment disputes (chargebacks)
If you believe a charge is wrong, please contact us first at support@meetwitty.com. Most billing issues can be resolved quickly by our support team, usually faster than a dispute through your bank. This does not limit your right to dispute a card payment with your card issuer at any time.
If you receive both a refund from us and a chargeback for the same payment, you agree to return the duplicate amount. We may close accounts that are used for fraud.
When a payment is disputed, we may provide the payment service provider or card issuer with evidence relating to the transaction, such as account registration details, your acceptance of our terms, access and usage records, device and IP information, and support correspondence. This information is used only to resolve the dispute and prevent fraud, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
