Subscription Terms
Last updated: 20 October 2026
These Subscription Terms are part of our Terms & Conditions and apply to all paid plans on Witty. They include our payment policy, the recurring payment (credential-on-file) agreement you enter into when you subscribe, and our cancellation policy. Refunds are covered in the Refund Policy.
1. Overview
Witty offers premium features through a subscription that may begin with an introductory trial and then continues as an automatically renewing paid subscription until you cancel. The exact plan, price, billing period and trial conditions are shown at checkout before you pay.
2. Introductory trial
- Duration: 3 days from purchase.
- Trial fee: €1.00, charged once at the start of the trial.
- Access: full access to premium features during the trial.
- Conversion: unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription converts automatically to the plan you selected and the first full subscription payment is charged on the day the trial ends.
The exact date your trial ends and the amount that will be charged afterwards are shown at checkout. Example: with a 3-day trial and our standard plan at €39.99 per month, you pay €1.00 on the day of purchase; the first monthly payment of €39.99 is charged when the 3-day trial ends, and then every month on or about the same calendar day until you cancel.
Trial offers may vary by campaign, region or time and may be changed or withdrawn at any time. Only one trial is permitted per person, account and payment method; we may refuse or revoke a trial where we reasonably suspect abuse.
3. Plans and pricing
Our standard plan currently costs €39.99 per month. We may offer other plans, billing periods or promotional prices; the price and billing period of the plan you choose are always shown at checkout and are the amounts you agree to pay.
Prices include VAT and other applicable taxes unless stated otherwise at checkout; the total for your country is displayed before you confirm your purchase. There are no hidden fees.
Promotional or discounted prices apply for the period stated at checkout. After that period the subscription renews at the standard price disclosed at checkout unless you cancel.
We may change prices for new customers at any time. If we change the price of your existing subscription, we give you at least 30 days' notice before the new price applies, and you may cancel before then to avoid it.
4. Payment policy
- Payment methods: Visa, Mastercard. The methods available to you are shown at checkout.
- Currency: you are charged in the currency shown at checkout.
- No surcharges or limits: we do not add a surcharge for paying by card, and we do not impose a minimum or maximum transaction amount.
- Issuer fees: your card issuer or bank may charge its own fees, for example for foreign transactions or currency conversion. These are outside our control.
- Payment processing: payments are processed by a PCI DSS compliant payment service provider. We do not collect or store your full card number or security code, and we never sell, share or disclose your card data to third parties.
- Failed payments: if a payment fails, we may retry it over a period of up to 30 days. If payment cannot be collected, your access to premium features may be suspended and your subscription ended. We do not charge fees for failed payments.
- Receipts: you can download a receipt for every payment from your account (Profile → Subscription → "View payment receipts") for at least 120 days after the payment. If you no longer have access to your account, email support@meetwitty.com and we will send it to you.
- Statement descriptor: payments appear on your card statement as MEETWITTY.COM. If you do not recognise a charge, see https://meetwitty.com/bg-BG/charge.
5. Recurring payment (credential-on-file) agreement
By purchasing a subscription you authorise us and our payment service provider to store your payment credentials and to charge them on a recurring basis as follows:
- Type of payments: scheduled recurring payments initiated by us at the start of each billing period.
- Purpose: payment for your Witty subscription. Your credentials are stored only to collect these payments.
- Amount: the fixed price of your plan as shown at checkout: first the trial fee, then the subscription price. The amount changes only if you change plan, if a promotional period ends as disclosed at checkout, or if we notify you of a price change at least 30 days in advance.
- Dates: the first subscription payment is charged when your trial ends (or immediately, if there is no trial), and subsequent payments at the start of each billing period, on or about the same calendar day.
- Notifications: the trial fee, the trial end date, the subscription price and the billing period are disclosed at checkout before you confirm your purchase.
- Start and duration: this agreement starts when you accept it at checkout and remains in force until you cancel your subscription or we terminate it.
- Communication: you can contact us about your subscription and payments at support@meetwitty.com. We use the email address on your account to identify you, so please keep it up to date.
You can end this agreement at any time by cancelling your subscription as described below. Cancelling also ends our authorisation to charge your stored payment credentials.
6. Cancellation policy
How to cancel. You can cancel at any time:
- in your account: open your Profile and choose "Cancel subscription"; or
- by emailing support@meetwitty.com from the email address on your account.
When cancellation takes effect. Cancellation stops automatic renewal. Your subscription and your access to premium features continue until the end of the period you have already paid for (or until the end of your trial), and you are not charged again.
Deadline. To avoid the next charge, cancel before your trial ends or before your renewal date. A cancellation made after a payment has been charged does not entitle you to a refund of that payment, except as set out in the Refund Policy or where required by law.
Recurring payments. Cancelling your subscription also ends the recurring payment agreement in section 5; no further charges are made to your stored payment credentials.
Retention offers. During the cancellation process we may offer you a discounted price or another benefit. If you accept such an offer, your subscription continues on the terms of that offer instead of being cancelled, and afterwards renews at the price disclosed in the offer.
Reactivation. You may subscribe again at any time at the price then in force. Trial offers are not available again.
7. Feature availability
- Features may vary by region, device or plan.
- Some features may be offered as one-time purchases instead of, or in addition to, a subscription.
- We may modify, add or discontinue features. If we remove a material feature from a plan you pay for, the notice and cancellation rights in section 15 of the Terms & Conditions apply.
8. Summary
- Trials convert into a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel; you are responsible for cancelling in time.
- You can cancel at any time in your Profile or by email; access continues until the end of the paid period.
- Refunds, including your 14-day right of withdrawal, are governed by our Refund Policy.
